• Friday Fired-up Night

First Friday of the month from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM

This is a potluck dinner and project class. We choose a different project each month and supply the glass. You design it and build it and we fire it for you.

This is a fun, energetic class (the more the merrier) so bring your favorite potluck food or drink. Please bring glass-cutting tools if you have them.

• Kids Craft Night

This class is offered only during certain months, so please refer to the calendar. We will do mosaics or fused glass art.

• Basic Fusing Class

This is a 2-day class • Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Students will learn basic fusing and slumping techniques and will do 1-3 full fused and 1 or 2 tack fused pieces, and 1 or 2 of your full fused pieces will be slumped. Project sizes will vary from 6" X 6" to 9" X 9" depending on the mold you choose to slump into. Class price includes glass. Please bring your glass cutting tools if you have them.

• Jewelry Fusing Class

This is a 2-day class • Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

In this class, each student will work in a small kiln with the instructor's supervision. By the end of the class, the student should be able to operate a small kiln at home. Students will do 1-2 bracelets (1 from cabochons and one bangle-type that you will be creating and bending in the kiln), several cabochons to wire wrap, glue and fuse to bails for pendants, earrings and bracelets, key chains, possibly barrettes, and bookmarks. Most students do several pieces of jewelry. Please bring your glass cutting tools if you have them. Please bring a lunch with your, or you may leave to pick-up lunch nearby.

• Basic Bead Making
   with Hot Head Torch and mapp gas

Dates and times vary, but this class usually meets for 5 hours on Saturday or Sunday

Students will learn basic techniques in bead making. Class price includes the basic bead kit with hot head torch and tools. Didiyum safety glasses not included, but we do have glasses that students may use.

• "Bead Brains" by Cathi Milligan

Dates and times vary, but this class usually meets for 5 hours on Saturday or Sunday

This is a bead making class using oxygen/propane minor bench burner torches. Torches will be provided for student's use (but not to take home). You can see some of the cute beads Cathi makes on her website www.beadbrains.com.

• Stained Glass Classes

6-week class / 3 hours per class • Students attend 1 class per week
Please call for available days and times.

In this class, students work at their own pace, at their own skill level, on projects of their own choosing. Stained glass, mosaics, and stepping stones are taught. Students must supply their own tools, which they can purchase in our studio.

• We Do Private Parties!

We will be happy to design a private party or event (for 6 or more) focusing around creating beautiful art glass projects. What a great way for the girls to get together - or do parent-and-child projects for Christmas gifts, etc. Call us for more info.

• Class Details

All classes require a non-refundable deposit in the amount of ½ the class price at the time of sign-up (with the exception of the Stained Glass Classes). If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you must call the studio at least 1 week in advance to be able to forward your deposit to another class time or for store credit. If a student fails to attend class with no notice, their deposit may not be used for a future class or store credit.

• Kiln Time

Assemble your projects at home and bring them in to be fired. Price depends on the size of your project.
• $50.00 for a single fire in large kiln
• $25.00 for a shared-kiln single fire in large kiln
